cny this year is different.
no festive mood at all.
kindda came and go. wasnt even excited abt the red packets.
was just elated to see shaun, justin, jieyi and esp ayden tan!
it's been a long time since i talked to justin, so yea. was nice hanging out with him again and his gf is nice (:
i always thought this year's cny to be a horrible one. cos i thought i'd do horribly for my o's then all my uncles and aunties.. tsk. you should know what im gonna say. anyway, i predicted it wrong. and im so glad. cos last year was bad enough. not many knew i retained. yea. so it'd be hellish if i said i failed. wanted to change their opinion of me being stupid.
ok, so. spent the eve and first day at uncle jeffrey's house. then returned to my house in the afternoon of the first day. steam boat at my house. was goddamn boring. cos all my paternal cousins are boys and they spent most of their time at my house playing xbox, ps2 and computer. and my room was occupied by the older generation and their mahjong table. good thing shaun and all came over later at night. my favourite cousin yet :) he's really caring and super duper crappy. all of us love him.
and ayden. im sure he'll grow up to be a gentleman.
i was tasked to look after him while he was sleeping. he woke up suddenly while i was patting him and got me all nervous cos i was afraid he'd cry. but he didnt. he just stared at me and held my finger with his little hand and i started to share with him all my troubles. yes. i talked to him in english. not baby language.
yea, anyway. he smiled at me like he understood and i felt so comforted. he couldnt stop smiling at me while i talked to him. oh mann. i love ayden to pieces. and he's superduper adorable now.
and joan! she's growing real fast. took some really cute pictures with her. but the photos are in hazelle's camera. will upload as soon as i get the photos. she talks like a teenager.
yea. we got pretty bored when our cousins came and started to take photos outside.
mom was nice today. she offered to buy this cute old aunty lunch cos all the coffeeshops were closed and hougang mall is too far for aunty. so mom got her mac donald's. this old aunty enjoyed her meal. she's really really adorable.
and so today, me and my famly caught a movie. ghost rider. not that bad.
we were at the station and dad told me to take a photo of us.
